Very nice and friendly, clean, modern rooms with no frills. Because of Corona there is currently no breakfast, but a good packed lunch with smeared rolls, juice, yogurt, fruit. Good location on the Neckar near the clinic. Absolutely to be recommended!

Food is good, sit down service was horrible. Just take out and don't stay and you'll be fine, unless you are old and German, then i think it's perfect for you.

Unfortunately pretty disappointing. I ordered a sandwich at a pretty steep price. After several inquiries whether a vegetarian topping was available, because I couldn't order directly at the counter due to the distance regulations, the not very friendly saleswoman gave me one with breaded chicken instead of the ordered cheese roll. I can't say anything about the quality of the food, but when it comes to the service, I don't think the price-performance ratio is justified.

I really enjoy going to this bakery. Very good selection of fresh breads and cakes. Is freshly baked, no frozen goods like in most bakeries.

Breakfast was ok, I had omelette with tomato and mozzarella. The hygiene regulations were observed. The staff were friendly. The waiting time could have been shorter. We already had the feeling that we had been forgotten.

Rich breakfast. It is a bit fresh and drafty in the winter garden area. Friendly service.

The service is good as well as the food and drinks to be had here. It's also very conveniently close to the riverside, so takeaway is always a great option!

Quality of the cake and the hot drink was very good. Personally, I find payment with the EC card only from 10 € mega outrageous in Corona times. Then you should at least clearly point this out at the entrance area.

Taste is good. Location very good. Price too expensive for such a small piece of cake. Pity !

My first breakfast was before 6:00 am at the bakery area. Nice shop assistants and extensive range. The restaurant is open from 7:00 am. Small but good offers. The staff is always friendly, correct and attentive. Discreet advice to the guests on compliance with the hygiene rules.

Very friendly service, attention is paid to hygiene, especially in the times of Corona you pay attention to a certain number of customers in the subject area. The cakes were delicious, the chocolate bun a little dry.

This Café should think if they have the right person/waitress welcoming customers. She was very rude with the family who came before and also with us. A pity.

One of my worst restaurant experiences ever! We came for breakfast on a hot morning during corona, so the place was not too busy. Incredibly rude staff (and I have lived in Germany a long time, so I am familiar with rude waitstaff), very poor Brötchen and croissant, and completely overcooked eggs. I give one star for hot coffee (not always a given in Germany) and one for the good looking cakes, which we might have tried if the breakfast had been good. Unfortunately I can get much better breakfast pastries at Tegut.

Best cakes in Heidelberg. Heidelberger Schloss is my favorite. Everything is cheaper when its to-go.

The bread and cake choices and quailty are very good. No doubt. But I was not happy with some staff selling bread. Some were quite rude and cold to customers. Or maybe cause I am a foreigner? One of the two stars I gave is for the bread and cake. The other one is for the staff who is nice to every customer. Die meisten Damen an der Kasse sind unglaublich unfreundlich. Habe gerade andere Reviews gelesen und gefunden, ich nicht die einzige bin , die die Einstellung hat.

I struggle to find the black forest cake in Heidelberg but was readily available here. The choices of deer and salty snacks are great. Great breakfast menu and friendly staff.

Beside the river and easy access. There are few parking spots if you have a car. Breakfast was good, but sometimes stuff forgets take orders so I had to remind them. If you are in the rush I would not recommend.

They had 16 people working on a normal day with not too many people there and it took ages to get food or even a coffee. "Lactose-free takes longer.." was my favourite excuse of many. Once we got the food, it was nice enough but nothing more than a small selection of typical supermarket cheese and meats, like salami, mortadella, butterkäse, or edamer. I was rather disappointed, unfortunately

Nice place for a breakfast brunch next to DKFZ. Not particularly quite considering the Heidelberg cement undergoing major overhaul. Also didn't like the fact that there was cigarette smoke floating around, which personally I find super annoying. Food was okay and fresh and a wide range of choices.

They have nice cakes there but most of the time it's not possible to sit there and have breakfast.

Good food bad service and bad prices to eat in. Rude and slow people in service as unfortunetly you find often in the german food industry wont come back.

Really enjoyed my one-night stay and the hotel, as well as the breakfast. Very welcoming staff, and the room was very comfortable. The bakery has great quality food as well.
